It was a great racing day.  Kind of hot actually. But that bright sun always brings a glare penalty near the end of the day.  Here is Mike Spear turning left towards the last double before the finish line.

Tom Bruno on the spectator table.   Certainly one of the nicest big air jumps in the district.

Kurt Renzland with his two racing sons.  Kurt got a 2nd in the +35 class.

Jessie Jurgens with his dad.   Jessie got n 8th in PeeWee Suz-Yam and a 6th in PeeWee 4-6.

Vintage is gated with the women's class at ACE.  Here is Pablo (rider #24) helping his wife Barbara (#23) on the starting line.

Tom Vitale (#961) and friend.   Tom rides 125 amateur and is back late this season because of a nasty snowboard mishap last winter.  Stay off those things !

Riding the women's class is #316, Felica Zavattaro, pictured here with her friend.

Stacey and her dad (Mike Widera).   Mike is rider #73 and was on a rare 1974 Kawasaki 400 in the vintage class.   Stacey rides the PeeWee 7-8 class and did super!

Rob Beyer and his daughter Jackie Beyer (#717).  Watch out for these two.  Jackie is a force to be reckoned with in the women's class.  Great rider.  And her dad is an ACE club member and does the expert payouts!

And here we have Rich Price (our district 34 reporter) with rider Pat Mahan (college boy champion for the year).   Pat, you were flying at Walden OP yesterday!

Now here's a story.  Mike Hoensch and I are relaxing under the awning of his motor home when we hear giggling coming from under it.  We look at each other and say "no way", who could be under the rig ??
We look underneath and we find  "Terrry and Terry" taking a break from the heat.
((Terry Eagan #954 rides the women's class and Terry Finkle #370 is a top rider in our 125 & 250 expert classes in our district. As if you needed me to tell you that!))
